I learned about Darn Tough from a friend on Instagram. I was looking for a sock that didn’t get wholes in the heels. These socks stood out to me because they truly believe in the quality if their socks. Darn Tough is so committed to their name and quality that they have a life time guarantee! No joke. I have tried Darn Tough socks and really love the build of the sock. I just wish that they had a wool free sock. That would be awesome!
To learn why their socks are so tough, check out my interview with Darn Tough from The Running Event 2014.

Magellan has been in the GPS business for years. Most of us know them for their portable GPS units designed for driving navigation. However, many don’t know about their line of watches. Most recently, Magellan introduced the Echo, a smart display and remote for your phone. This year they are introducing the Echo Fit. Its an Echo with life tracking capabilities. The idea is simple, if you already have a GPS unit in your phone why pay tons of money for a 2nd unit? Why not leave your phone in your pocket and control your music and workout from your watch?
To learn more about these cool watches check out my interview with Magellan from The Running Event.
It might seem weird that I interviewed EPIC at The Running Event. Many of you know that I’m a vegan. I’m not just a dietary vegan either. I believe in animal rights and don’t eat animal products on moral, spiritual, and nutritional principles. So why interview EPIC? I have two reasons; 1. Not all of my readers are vegan or vegetarian so I thought I would put something out there for them, 2. Taylor is a super great guy! Not only is he one of the easiest guys to talk to, he has worked hard to make a company that actually cares about the animals’ quality of life and best practices for their ecosystems and our earth.
Personally, I wish no one ate animal products. However if you do, get your animal products from conscious companies like EPIC. They really are pioneers in the meat industry. Props to them from doing something different.

Wahoo Fitness is a great company. I personally use their iPhone app for all of my activities. It is very customizable, easy to use, and you can share your activity with almost any fitness app! When I am finished running I simply upload my run to Strava without a hiccup.
In addition to a great app, Wahoo makes some amazing hardware for cyclists and runners alike.
In this interview from The Running Event we talk about their new heart rate monitors, the Tickr Run and Tickr X. Best part about these Bluetooth 4.0 & ANT+ heart rate monitors is their running analytics!
